The ride
A short but dramatic ride to two of the region’s most famous sights: Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac) and the Tram Ton pass, the highest road pass in Vietnam. It is a perfect half-day outing when you want big scenery without a big time commitment.
You ride out of Sapa and climb toward the pass, stopping at the waterfall where the water drops in a long silver thread down the mountainside, before continuing to the pass summit with its sweeping views.
